PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — Water and Wastewater projects across South Dakota are about to receive millions of dollars. The state Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources recently approved the funding, which includes nearly $52-million in a low interest loan for wastewater treatment in Sioux Falls. The state will also receive a grant to help clean up PFAs – known as ‘Forever Chemicals’ – that are contained in firefighting foam, tires and other hazardous waste.
