Latest Sioux Falls Metro coronavirus numbers as of 8/16/20

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com)  —  Here are yesterday’s numbers from the City of Sioux Falls’ new Lincoln and Minnehaha Counties coronavirus tracker.

The City reports 59 new cases in the metro, up 29 from Saturday.

There are 503 active cases, up 43 cases from Saturday.

The three-day moving average of daily cases is at 48.

There are 28 area residents hospitalized, down five from Saturday.
