PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — The 2026 camping season isn’t officially over yet, but you can already get prepared for next season. The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks department has opened sales for resident annual park entrance licenses. The licenses cost $40 each, or $60 if you buy two at the same time. They’ll provide entrance to the state’s 60-plus parks and recreation areas. Lodging and camping fees are extra.
