Rosebud Sioux Tribe
ROSEBUD, S.D. (KELO.com) — The nonprofit organization Team Buche Cares is distributing emergency food distributions to the Rosebud Sioux Tribe.
Interim Tribe President Lisa White Pipe declared an emergency after severe storms wreaked havoc last week.
White Pipe said in a release that the tribe is “grateful to Team Buche Cares and to everyone who is stepping forward to help.
The food distributions are taking place at various events.
Emergency food distributions will take place according to the following schedule:
- Monday August 17
- Milks Camp/Bull Creek – 10:00 a.m. Gus Stop
- Ideal/Winner – 2:00 pm Buche Ace Hardware
- Thursday August 20
- Rosebud – 10:00 am Community Services Building
- Village – 12:00 pm Community Building
- Antelope – 2:00 pm Community Building
- Monday August 24
- St. Francis – 10:00 am Community Building
- Parmlee – 12:00 pm Community Building
- Black Pipe – 2:00 pm Community Building
