ROSEBUD, S.D. (KELO.com) — The nonprofit organization Team Buche Cares is distributing emergency food distributions to the Rosebud Sioux Tribe.

Interim Tribe President Lisa White Pipe declared an emergency after severe storms wreaked havoc last week.

White Pipe said in a release that the tribe is “grateful to Team Buche Cares and to everyone who is stepping forward to help.

The food distributions are taking place at various events, with the next scheduled for today at Bull Creek and Milk’s Camp at 10 a.m. and Ideal and Winner at 2 p.m.
