(Sturgis, SD) — The South Dakota Department of Public Safety is adding six more injury accidents to its “Sturgis Rally Tally.” That brings the total to 41 from August 2nd to August 6th. There were two deadly crashes during that time. Officers made 70 DUI arrests and handed out 873 citations in the Sturgis and Rapid City districts so far. The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally runs through Sunday, August 10th. The Rally Tally is a way to track crashes and crimes during the annual event.
