SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The City of Sioux Falls is setting aside $790 million for next year’s city budget.
During Tuesday night’s city council meeting, the 2024 budget was approved by 7 out of 8 councilors.
Also approved was the 5-year capital plan, which City Finance Director Shawn Pritchett explains.
While detailing the budget, Pritchett talked about where the City’s funds come from.
The new budget sets aside money for several infrastructure projects and the hiring of new police officers and firefighters.
