SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — A woman is facing felony charges after giving birth with drugs and alcohol in her system. 25-year-old Mary Martin of Sioux Falls gave birth to her daughter in January, during which a drug screen was performed by request of the Department of Social Services. It determined that the mother had meth, marijuana and alcohol in her system at the time of the birth. She’s charged with abuse or cruelty to a minor under 7 years old, ingestion of methamphetamine and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
