WASHINGTON, D.C. (KELO.com) — Senator Mike Rounds is picking up the mantle of mental health.
Rounds reintroduced legislation to expand mental health and substance use services.
The Home-Based Telemental Health Care Act of 2023 would establish a grant program for health providers to increase telemental health services in rural areas and for individuals working in the farming, forestry and fishing industries.
It would authorize up to $10 million for each fiscal year through 2027 using current funds.
