SFPD K-9 Officer Max passes away

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police K-9 Officer Max has died.

Max was with his handler and his family when he passed away.

K-9 Officer Max served and protected the department and the people of Sioux Falls for nine years.

It's with humble hearts the SFPD reports the passing of retired SFPD K-9 Max. K-9 Max passed away this afternoon in peace with his former handler and his family by his side.
