SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Street construction update:
Lane Closures – Sixth Street
Beginning on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, the eastbound lanes of East Sixth Street will be closed between Meyer Lane and Sycamore Avenue to allow construction crews to perform storm drainage and pavement repairs. Once the work is complete in the eastbound lanes, work will shift to the westbound lanes. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction.
This work is anticipated to be complete in approximately two weeks.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and are urged to use alternate routes.
Street Closure – Tomar Road
Beginning on Monday, August 10, 2020, South Tomar Road between East Alder Lane and East Sandpiper Trail will be closed as well as the outside eastbound and westbound lanes of East 57th Street at South Tomar Road to allow crews to perform concrete repairs. Traffic will be maintained on East 57th Street with one lane in each direction.
Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed within one week.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
