SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The City never sleeps. Neither does crime. Here’s the latest from today’s Sioux Falls Police briefing.
BURGLAR STEALS DIRT BIKES
Sioux Falls Police are investigating the burglary and theft of 12 to 15 dirt bikes.
The thievery took place between Saturday and Monday.
The burglar hit a storage unit near Marion Road and Bluebird in west Sioux Falls.
FAKE BUT NOT COUNTERFEIT MONEY
Obviously fake one-hundred-dollar bills have been passed at three convenience stores in one day in Sioux Falls.
The funny money wasn’t technically counterfeit. It was obviously fake. The bills were clearly marked as ‘prop money.’
Lt. Adam Peterson says people need to be extra-vigilant when accepting paper money for payment, especially big bills.
