SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded to an early evening fire Tuesday night.
The fire was reported at a manufactured home at 115 E Bourbon Place Tuesday night at 8:05.
Two persons in the home got out before responders arrived on the scene. One of them was transported to the hospital for injuries from the fire. The extent of the injuries is not known.
The home sustained extensive fire damage and the occupants were displaced and are being assisted by the American Red Cross.

At 8:05 p.m. Tuesday evening, October 22, 2019, Sioux Falls Fire Rescue was dispatched to a report of a structure fire at 115 E Bourbon Pl. There was an initial report of a person outside the home that was injured.
The first arriving fire unit found fire and smoke coming from two sides of a manufactured home. There were two occupants that were able to remove themselves from the home prior to emergency responders arriving on the scene. One of the occupants was transported to the hospital for injuries from the fire. The extent of the injuries is not known. The fire was under control within the first ten minutes of fire crews arriving on the scene. The home sustained extensive fire damage. Three residents were displaced and are being assisted by the American Red Cross. No injuries to the first responders were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded with four fire trucks, three support vehicles, and 19 personnel. SFFR was assisted on scene by Metro Communications, Patient Care EMS Ambulance, American Red Cross, Sioux Falls Police Department, Sioux Valley Energy, and Mid-American Energy.
Sioux Falls Fire Rescue would like to remind residents to practice smart fire safety practices including having escape plans, and checking smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
