SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — If you’re heading out early on Monday morning in the Sioux Falls area make sure to drive carefully. The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory through 9 a.m. Monday.
A Dense Fog advisory is effect until 9 AM. Fog continues to expand along and east of I-29. The visibility in many areas is less than 1/2 mile. If driving this morning, slow down and turn on your headlights so others can see you. pic.twitter.com/HdFzagXDlp

The advisory largely applies to the I-29 corridor and areas east of the highway, extending into northwest Iowa. The National Weather Service is advising people to keep their headlights on after sunrise to stay visible in the fog.
