OGLALA, S.D. (KELO.com) – South Dakota and the Oglala Sioux Tribe are receiving disaster relief funds from the federal government.
President Trump announced on social media that he is approving three-point-four million dollars in funds for the state and an additional one-point-seven million for the tribe for recovery from severe storms.
The president said in the post that South Dakota is a special place and that he is delivering for the state.
Governor Larry Rhoden issued a statement thanking the president saying he was informed about the decision through a phone call with Trump.
