T-Rex auction price expected to inspire more fossil hunters

UNDATED (KELO.com) — A record $50-million price tag for ‘Gus the T-Rex’ of South Dakota is expected to draw more fossil hunters.  The money is being split between those that excavated the fossil and the landowners where Gus was found.  Experts estimate it took 25-thousand hours of labor to uncover the remains and five year to prepare the fossil for auction.
