SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — A 19-year old Sioux Falls man is accused of firing a gun at another person at a park near the Great Plains Zoo Thursday morning. Julian Willcuts faces weapons and public intoxication charges. Information Officer Aaron Benson says police were able to quickly track him down after receiving several reports. “Officers were using cameras in our real time information center and were able to find the man on video near 15th and Kiwanis. Officers responded to the scene quite quickly and located the man and placed him under arrest.”
Benson says a handgun and a spent shell casing was found in Willcuts’ backpack. The gun had recently been stolen in Lincoln County.
