RAPID CITY, SD (KELO.com) — Gunsmithing is being added at Western Dakota Technical College in Rapid City, and the state is buying an accredited Colorado school to make it happen. Governor Larry Rhoden awarded $4-million from the Future Fund to Western Dakota to purchase equipment and acquire the school. He says it builds on South Dakota’s pro-2nd Amendment reputation and will expand the state’s defense and firearms industries.
