SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — An 11-year old Sioux Falls student is this year’s state Spelling Bee champion. Oscar Quezada, a 5th grader at Challenge Center Elementary won with the correct spelling of ‘arrearage’. The state event was held on the campus of Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell. He now moves on to the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington in May.
