SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — A close call for a Minnehaha County Deputy Sheriff. His vehicle was hit while he was helping a stranded driver on I-90 Wednesday. It’s the third patrol vehicle that was struck on the side of the road this year. A new “Move Over Law” went into effect in July that requires drivers to switch lanes before approaching stopped vehicles on the side of the road.
