PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — South Dakota Lawmakers are still searching for answers to provide property tax relief. So far this session, they have decided the outcome of only a few property tax measures. Senator Chris Karr appeared on the Greg Belfrage show Tuesday morning, saying it’s been a process of weeding out some of the proposals. Karr says the priority for him is to provide relief to people on fixed incomes to make sure they don’t lose their homes because of rising property tax rates.
