Attorney General Marty Jackley
PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — Attorney General Marty Jackley is headed to testify in the U-S District Court for the Southern District of New York this week. It’s in response to the Mayday Health ads promoting the sale of abortion pills banned in South Dakota by the state legislature. Mayday Health filed a temporary restraining order with the New York Court, after Jackley issued a cease and desist order. The Attorney General says he’ll fight for South Dakota’s right to determine its own laws and enforce them.
