Mayoral candidate says his opinion is shifting on hyper-scale data centers

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls opponents are circulating petitions against zoning changes for a proposed hyper-scale data center on the northeastern edge of the city.  Mayoral Candidate Jamie Smith held a town hall on the subject over the weekend.  He says he has supported the centers in the past, but is rethinking his position as he hears more negatives on the environment and energy costs.
