Attorney General Marty Jackley
PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — 11 people have been indicted in connection with an inmate death that happened at the Springfield Men’s Prison in Springfield in November. An autopsy revealed that year old Timothy Tyree had ingested a synthetic cannabinoid known as K2. Attorney General Marty Jackley announced Monday morning that seven inmates were charged, along with four private individuals, including a state contractor. Charges have now been filed in four of the eight suspected drug overdose deaths of prison inmates that happened last year.
