PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — You’ll have some options for license plates under a bill passed by a legislative committee in Pierre Friday morning. The Senate Transportation committee green-lighted solid background plates as an option. The move to solid background plates started in Iowa, and has spread to other states. If the measure passes and you decide to make the change, it will cost you an extra 100-dollars.
