PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — They haven’t had to move much snow so far this season, but the South Dakota DOT’s snowplow fleet is ready to go with new plow names. The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) announced another round of outstanding winners in the sixth annual snowplow naming contest Friday. The DOT says the contest sparks creativity while providing an opportunity to encourage winter driving safety awareness for South Dakotans of all ages. Here is a list of this year’s winners.
