RAPID CITY, SD (KELO.com) — A National guard battalion gets a big welcome home this weekend after being deployed for more than a year. The 109th Engineer Battalion has been working on the southern border to stop drug trade and the flow of illegal immigrants. They’ll be honored during a ceremony in Rapid City Sunday.
