SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — What will the city of Sioux Falls look like 25 years from now? City planners are on the home stretch of completing Shape 2050 – a comprehensive plan for future development. City planning and development services director Jeff Eckhoff says there’s a desire to encourage more density in developing the city, but making that happen isn’t easy. Eckhoff and his team have been working with an outside consulting firm for the past year and a half getting the plan to this point. It needs approval from the Planning Commission and the City Council.
