SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — A Sioux Falls man is facing charges after allegedly assaulting a police officer during a traffic stop. Rudolph Gabe, Jr. was stopped by police after allegedly running a red light and hitting a curb. Police say he pulled out a knife and lunged at the officer, who had asked him to take a DWI test. Gabe is charged with aggravated assault against an officer, carrying a concealed weapon and DWI. He was already on parole for a prior offense.
