Minimum wage hike comes in with the New Year

PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — Out with the old, in with the new.  For minimum wage earners in South Dakota that means a 3% pay bump.  The Minimum wage for non-tipped employees in South Dakota increases from $11.50 to $11.85 an hour, effective January 1st.  The state’s minimum wage is adjusted annually based on inflation.
