Sioux Falls, SD (KELO.com) — State investigators say an officer was justified in fatally shooting a man last month in Beresford. Christopher Pearson of Brookings refused commands and pointed a loaded gun a the officer during a traffic stop at the Truck Towne Travel Plaza. Lab results show Pearson’s blood alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit at the time of the shooting.
