Washington D.C. (KELO.com) — It isn’t often the U.S Senate agrees unanimously on anything, but it has in passing the Wounded Knee Massacre Memorial and Sacred Site Act. The bill was sponsored by Senator Mike Rounds which places 40 acres into restricted fee status to be held by the Oglala and Cheyenne River Sioux Tribes. It now heads to the White House for President Trump’s signature.
