Washington D.C. (KELO.com) — It’s taken a lot of extra work to get it done but Senator John Thune is celebrating the number of President Trump’s nominees confirmed by the Senate this year. The Senate normally confirms large batches of Presidential nominees to save time, but this year Senate Democrats have opposed every Trump nominee to delay the process. Senator Thune says despite the heel-dragging, the Senate will probably get more than 400 Trump nominees approved by the end of the year.
