Sioux Falls, SD (KELO.com) — The court case against a woman accused of kidnapping a Sioux Falls baby earlier this year has come to a close. Betty Cross entered an ‘Alford plea’, which means she hasn’t admitted to committing the crime, but acknowledges prosecutors likely have enough evidence to get a conviction. Cross faces up to five years in prison after admitting to taking the seven-month-old child across state lines. They ended up in Michigan.
