Winter storm hit northeastern South Dakota

Northeastern South Dakota and western Minnesota appear to have taken the brunt of yesterday’s winter storm. I-29 was closed north of Watertown late yesterday afternoon and remains closed this morning. Some state highways have also been closed, and no travel is advised in that area.
