Pierre, SD (KELO.com) — Property Tax Reform will be front and center in the upcoming Legislative session. The focus this time around will be reducing the tax burden for owner-occupied property. Governor Larry Rhoden says criticism of the current agricultural property tax rates during the last session are misplaced. The Governor supports the current ag property tax system and will work to defend it.
