Pierre, SD (KELO.com) — The controversial new SDVotes Program won’t be put into operation for the 2026 election. The Secretary of State is delaying implementation until early 2027 because of the concerns of County Auditors across South Dakota. The auditors want more time to test the system and train their staff.
