South Dakota (KELO.com) — A California man is headed to prison for a dozen years for an online scam that cost a Chamberlain resident nearly a half-million dollars. Attorney General Marty Jackley says 36-year-old Chee Yeng Wong was behind a crypto currency investment scheme. Wong pleaded guilty this week. He’s also been ordered to pay restitution of 472-thousand dollars.
