Sioux Falls, SD (KELO.com) — Zoo employees mourn the death and incredible life of Callie, a 16-year old Amur Tiger. Callie was born at the Great Plains Zoo and spent all but a couple of years there. Zoo workers said that Callie was “spunky” and “captured everyone’s hearts”. She had to be euthanized last week because of age-related health issues.
