Sanford Health is buying the largest locally owned pharmacy chain in South Dakota.
Lewis has more than 60 locations across the region, and has been a household name for 80 years.
Sanford and Lewis have partnered for more than 25 years, with 11 Sanford Clinics co-located with Lewis pharmacies.
They also share ownership of 44 Lewis Drug locations in rural communities outside Sioux Falls.
