A teacher at George McGovern Middle School is a first prize winner

She’s one of the National Heroes of the Classroom. George McGovern Middle School teacher Erin McFarland is one of ten national first prize winners in the Kleenex Brand tissue program.
The Grand Prize Winner is selected through a public vote that runs through September 8th. If she wins that, she’ll receive a ten-thousand dollar check for herself,
and the school will receive a five-thousand-dollar check…plus a year’s supply of Kleenex.
