New technology to make high-speed chases safer

PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — State troopers have a new weapon in their arsenal to deal with high speed chases.  StarChase launches a small tracker onto a fleeing vehicle, allowing troopers to monitor its movements through GPS technology.  Officials say it allows troopers to catch criminals as safely as possible.
