WATERTOWN, SD (KELO.com) — Ukrainian refugees now living in Watertown gets a last-minute reprieve from deportation. Valerii and Ilona Biliaze learned yesterday they can stay in the U-S for another two years. That is the same day they feared they would have to leave the country.
The family hopes to apply for a green card or citizenship during the extension period.
