South Dakota residents frustrated with current property tax rates

ABERDEEN, SD (KELO.com) — A legislative committee got an earful this week, hearing from frustrated residents and local government officials on property taxes.  Northern Plains News quoted an Aberdeen resident who said his tax bill went up 50-percent in five years.  The group is studying whether the property tax system can be made fairer or be replaced.
