DRAPER, SD (KELO.com) — A Murdo fire department volunteer has died in an accident that happened as he responded to a large grass fire Saturday night. The Fire Tender he was driving left a road near Draper, rolled and he was thrown from the vehicle. His name is being withheld until family can be notified. Pierre and Fort Pierre firefighters gathered along Sioux Avenue Saturday night out of respect as an escort of the firefighter arrived in Pierre.
