SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Construction crews will begin digging into a new concourse project at the Sioux Falls Regional Airport within a couple of months. The Airport Authority Board approved construction bids for the first phase of a new concourse and apron work around the terminal. Airport CEO Dan Letellier says bids came in about three million dollars below estimates. The Airport Authority is still seeking city, state and federal funding to finance the rest of the project. The first phase should be complete in about a year and a half.
