PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — Governor Larry Rhoden gets high marks from South Dakotans. Poll results released this morning by South Dakota News Watch give the Governor a 58-percent approval rating on the job he’s done since taking over for former Governor Kristi Noem in February. Noem gets a 51-percent approval rating in her new job as Secretary of Homeland Security. Senate Majority Leader John Thune has a 55-percent approval rating in the state.
