PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — South Dakota lawmakers are considering a bill to require Lutheran Social Services of Sioux Falls to release refugee resettlement information. The agency says it’s more than willing to comply. In fact, President and CEO Rebecca Kieso-Knudsen says LSS gave those figures to the Legislative Research Council in January. LSS is the most prominent refugee resettlement organization in the state, resettling 386 refugees in the state during the last fiscal year.
