PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — Summit Carbon Solutions wants to build 700-miles of CO2 pipeline through South Dakota. Before it does, the company would have to provide an environmental impact state under terms of a bill passed by a legislative committee Monday morning. Supporters of the bill say it’s a public safety measure. Critics say current regulations are sufficient.
