PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — Questions in Pierre about who’s bullying whom??? Senate Minority Leader Jamie Smith got the ball rolling at a news conference this morning. He called bathroom and birth certificate bills dealing with transgender issues “bully bills’ in the legislature.
A short time later, House Majority Leader Scott Odenbach disputed the origin of bullying tactics on the issue.
Both bills passed in committee yesterday, and will be debated again next week.
